Essentria™: Botanical Safety, Synthetic Performance

With the Essentria™ line of products from Envincio, pest control operators can take advantage of synthetic performance with the safety benefits of an organic.

That’s because Essentria products use botanical compounds that plants generate as part of their natural defense against insect attacks. These compounds work by blocking octopamine in the target insect’s nervous system.

Octopamine is the insect’s equivalent to adrenaline. It regulates their heart rate, movement, behavior and metabolism. The unique molecular structure of Essentria’s active ingredient targets and blocks the octopamine neurotransmitter receptors in insects. Blocking octopamine results in a total breakdown of the insect’s central nervous system. Mammals, birds and fish do not have receptors for octopamine, so these products have no adverse effect on them.lemongrass used to produce essential oils

Essentria products have the same knock-down power as comparable synthetics, are priced competitively, and have only a natural fragrance.

The result: fast, effective insect control in a totally ‘green’ product. In fact, under FIFRA  (the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide & Rodenticide Act) 25(b) Exemption, Essentria products are not required to be registered with the EPA. For situations where only the softest solutions are called for, reach for Essentria.
